Ready to dive into our Pre-College Program in Business and Engineering and explore the amazing world of Tec de Monterrey?

In the week dedicated to Business you’ll have the opportunity to gain insights into the Mexican business environment, economy, and infrastructure. Explore the influence of cultural differences on management styles, and stay informed about global trends in outsourcing, offshoring, and nearshoring.
In the engineering week, you will be applying principles and tools of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence, designing innovative production methods, work environments, and production teams. You will work with Tec Motor simulator for improvements exceeding 50% in both quality and productivity in an industrial setting.
During the program you will have company visits, career workshops and during the weekend you will have time to explore archaeological wonders, and stroll through colonial towns.

Digital badge for completing the program

At the end of Pre-College, you will have the opportunity to obtain a digital badge that certifies your participation. This badge is generated thanks to Blockchain technology, which is also used for Bitcoin, and allows for the creation of secure and easily verifiable certificates.

Share your details with us and download the forms you need to fill out.
2 Verify Your Information
To confirm your high school student status, please submit the following documents:

• Student official ID

• Mother, father or guardian official ID

• High school transcript with a minimum average of 80 out of 100 or its equivalent in the country*

• Medical Form: Completed and signed by the student and mother, father, or guardian

• Participation Policies signed by the student

• Letter of Consent signed by the mother, father, or guardian

• Image Authorization Letter signed by the mother, father, or guardian

• Accreditation policies

•English level B1 suggested (The academic programa will be in English)
3 Confirm Your Spot
After completing your information, you will receive an email with the admission decision within 72 hours. If it’s positive, you’ll need to make a payment of $30,000 MXN (Thirty thousand, Mexican pesos) to secure your spot.
4 Arrival Information:
Once your payment is made, you will receive an email to share your arrival information (when you have purchased your transfers) so we can pick you up at the airport if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
I am a foreigner; can I attend the Pre-College Program, or is it only for Mexicans?
The program is for high school students, regardless of whether they are Mexican, foreign, studying in Mexico, or in another country.

How much is the registration fee for Tec de Monterrey Pre-College Program?
$30,000 MXN (Thirty thousand, Mexican pesos)
*Cost for local participants: $13,990 MXN (Includes: academic experience, lunch, and company visits)

When do I need to make the payment?
Once you have received the email confirming your participation, you will receive the link to make the payment.

What is included in the program fee?
While flight expenses to reach Mexico City or Querétaro are the responsibility of the student, transportation from the Mexico City or Querétaro Airport will be provided at no additional cost.

Does the registration fee include transportation expenses?
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at campus
• Housing at Tec Residencies
• Transportation to all activities and company visits outside campus
• Trip to Teotihuacan and San Miguel de Allende
• Transportation from/to the airport

How do I know if my registration was successful?
You will receive an email confirmation with the next steps.

Is it required to bring a companion with me?
No, it is not required.

How can I purchase my medical insurance or international travel insurance?
If you do not yet have medical insurance covering international travel, you can purchase one when buying your airline ticket or here: TEC
It is a requirement for participants to have valid medical insurance with international or Mexican coverage.

Is it necessary to bring any materials for the program?
Yes, you will need a laptop or tablet. If you don't have one, we can lend you one
